🚀 Session outline

Not just the staff needs AI training; it is also the students, the parents, the admin team, and the staff. This workshop will focus on how the 'AI Assessment Scale' can be used as a structure to support all stakeholders in understanding and positively using Gen AI tools. If the school encourages students to use Gen AI tools, what conversations should everybody have? We will look at (amongst other things) 'top-down' conversations, 'bottom-up' demands, 'Approaches to Learning' clusters, and a bit of academic integrity, all with plenty of 'real classroom' examples exploring standalone tools and broader chatbot usage.

Perception of the current situation in my school.

More than 7 in 10 teachers said they haven’t received any professional development on using AI in the classroom, according to a nationally representative EdWeek Research Center survey of 953 educators, including 553 teachers, conducted between Jan. 31 and March 4.
